Restored quilling card

Eggs, bunnies and family are waiting `cause Easter is coming!
This is a card I made an year ago, when I started quilling... Because the card had many wrinkles and didn`t want to throw away my work I restored it.

From one card I made two cards. Here is the first one, an egg with a bunny on it. I love it! And of course, my strong, vivid colors...

And the second one, a basket of eggs, for which I used my favourite scissors.

Your comments and opinions make me happy... So help yourself, go on and say what you think :)

Waiting for the flowers to bloom

I made these cards some weeks ago, but didn`t post them... Diana from Happy Quilling posted in the same time about the painting and quilling combination. It was strange and yet interesting for me to find a post so similar to what I was working on.

I consider these cards easy to make. But I love the special air they have. Looking at them I can feel the breeze, the sweet wind of the spring.

I like this world of blogging, I like the way people share their work. I like the way we build friendships and the way we discover with every new post stories and characters and own styles.

Here are some tulips...

And here are some flowers from my fantasy world. I love them!

Now... the air is sweet, it smells like the green grass caressed by the sun...

Thank you for your time and visit,
like always,
here, waiting for you...

Fast classic style cards

With every new day I discover my own style in quilling. I am not classy at all, I like to innovate, to combine new things and strong colors. But sometimes I also make classic cards.

Obviously, all these cards are sold. People love these classic works. Classic quilling means for me no ribbons, no stamping, no buttons or beads, or pink and orange and lime green... and so on. Couldn`t help myself, and some have a few ellements, but still look classy.

Sorry for these pictures, they are very bad (had been taken in the car, before I took the cards to the store), but I wanted to show them too.

And a little stamping, also with a classy touch :)

Waiting for your visit and opinions,
Anca

Things you treasure

I have never thought that the blogosphere would bring so many friends, and things to reflect on. When I entered my card to Stampin Sisters in Card challenge I found these words: "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:21

These words stay in my mind and I wanted to share them with you. I treasure my family, my husband and our pets, and I learn everyday how great is to play together.

I received the snow drops from these pictures from my father. We used to walk in the forrest when I was little but now I am busy almost all the time and in the last years I missed walking with him. So, he sent me some bulb snow drops.

I`ve taken the photos with so much love,
especially for you :)

Flying free

It`s a challenge for me to design and make simple cards, using minimum of time and energy. Why? In this way my handmade cards are not very expensive, many people buy them and feel happy for finding something special to give to their beloved friends, family, colleagues.

I made these butterflies for the same reason: fast, beautiful and not an expensive card. I love them, I love the colors. I adore playing with colors and quilling strips satisfy a lot my need to do this!

But... I find myself in a risky situation - I am not using my entire creativity and I`m dreaming of more complex projects - like this one. With the money from my cards I buy all kind of things: embelishments, paper...

I admire sophisticated projects and I imagine all kind of things I would like to make... But (again...) when I find myself in front of so many colors and buttons and beads and stamps I can`t help myself, I want to create over and over as fast as I can.

This was a long post... It was such a pleasure for me to share with you my thoughts!

As always, waiting here for you,
Anca

Number 5

Here is the card number five, the last one from those I`ve made using my beloved red and white ribbons.

I adore quilling 'cause it allows me to create all types of flowers, flowers that exist (like these ones) in the beautiful world of fantasy.

This is my favourite card. I like the colors, the beads and the buttons.

I bought these beads from Hungary some weeks ago and are precious to me because they remind the 3 relaxing days we had there. So I enter this card to Stampin Sister in Christ where the challenge is: use something you treasure. I also treasure this red and white ribbon.

Thank you for passing by,
Anca

In a hurry

Even if I have little time I want to keep my promise and post the fourth card. So I`ll be quick. I used my rubber stamps for this card and I like very much the way it looks, as background.

As for the stems I promise a tutorial very soon. I am attenting a training course this week-end, I`ve just arrived home and want to spend some time with my dear one...

Thank you for your visit,
Anca

Rescued clovers

Hello again :) This is the third card from those five I did one evening using some red and white ribbons.

It is not a spectacular work, but I love the idea that came to me: I`ve cut out the clovers from a card that was damaged in the store and I had to take it back.

I wanted to keep my promise and post every day one of the five cards I told you about.
Thank you for your visit,
Always waiting for you with joy!

Colors addicted

It seems that these days I am writing about my passions, things that make me feel like a child in a candy shop. Yesterday, I told you about my love for ribbons, for today I choose colors.

I like the way purple combines with yellow, they are both strong, you already know my stems and the button... oh the button is from an old shirt. And, of course the ribbon.

Yes, I love colors. I like to stare at paint chips, over and over, play with them and dream how some things would look in one color or another...

Always waiting your visit with joy...

Ribbons addicted

I love ribbons! I adore them! I am addicted, there is no cure. So, when I found these... I was happy and the same evening I started working.

The result: five cards for which I used some of these ribbons and strong base colors (they were already cut and wanted to use them). This is the first one. The rest of them in the next 4 days. 'Cause there`s never too much beauty and love...

Always waiting for your visit with joy...
